Grow Your Hair With Box Braids

So I recently got this strong urge to switch up my look a bit. I’ve been natural my entire life and either I wore my hair curly or straight. Whenever I would see people with braids, I would always low-key want some, but I never thought I could pull it off. One night I was in my bed on Pinterest pinning hairstyles to my ‘hair’ board and it was a done deal, I decided I was getting box braids. Luckily, I was able to get them done for ‘the free’ because my mom did them, might I add that my head was so sore afterwards like omg! I’m on this journey to grow my natural hair longer and this is the perfect hairstyle for that, so I plan to keep them in for about three weeks and there should be about an inch or two of new growth, which i’m excited about because who doesn’t want their hair to grow? Check out my braid growth regimen below: Continue reading Grow Your Hair With Box Braids

It is also very inexpensive, I purchased a bag of Organic Flaxseeds from Marshalls for $3.99. Now this isn’t a strong hold, which I like because ecostyler would make my hair feel crunchy and hard after awhile and it also tames the frizz, so you’ll be good. Below are the steps I used to make my own DIY Flaxseed Hair Gel and the benefits I noticed.
